Yuri Trutnev visited a new metal structures plant in Kamchatka

As part of a working trip to the Kamchatka Region, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation Yuri Trutnev was acquainted with the new production facilities of "Metal Structures Plant 41", which was launched in March of this year. The plant produces up to 1.5 thousand tons of metal structures per month. Modern equipment allows processing steel up to 60 millimeters thick and welding at speeds of up to 25 meters per hour. The plant's products will allow the assembly of bridge and building structures, mining industry structures and engineering structures - masts, towers, power lines. “For Kamchatka, bridges are an important story: there are many rivers here, the infrastructure in Kamchatka needs to be developed. I think the company will be in demand. It’s good that they took the path of localization and built an enterprise here in the region. Kamchatka must develop through diverse projects. In this case, development will truly be stable and sustainable,” said Yuri Trutnev.
