Yuri Trutnev instructed to include long-term plans for the development of Far Eastern cities in the project management system of the Ministry of Eastern Development of Russia

This decision was made following a meeting on the implementation of a long-term plan for the comprehensive socio-economic development of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka urban district for the period until 2030. The meeting was held under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev. For the period until 2030, the long-term plan for the socio-economic development of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky urban district provides for the implementation of 17 projects. The implementation of 10 of them has begun in 2023. 3.2 billion rubles were allocated for these purposes, including 3 billion rubles from the federal budget, 1.7 billion rubles of which were funds from the presidential Far Eastern unified subsidy. Improvement projects for six territories have been developed, including projects for the creation of an interactive Planetarium center on Nikolskaya Sopka, the construction of a museum of military glory, and the planning of the territory of the future campus. Design work has begun for the construction of a new building of the Regional Children's Hospital, a cable car, a community center and a youth research and educational center.
