Yuri Trutnev: the economic development of the entire country depends on the quality of training of young specialists
As part of a working trip to the Kamchatka Region, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation Yuri Trutnev was acquainted with the workshops (laboratories) created on the basis of the Kamchatka Marine Energy College.
In 2022, within the framework of the Federal project “Young Professionals”, three workshops were created on the basis of the technical school at the expense of the federal budget allocated through the Ministry of Education of Russia in the competencies “Electrical installation”, “Industrial automation”, “Refrigeration and air conditioning systems”.
In 2023, at the expense of the federal budget two more workshops began operating on the basis of the technical school: “Laboratory of ship high-voltage equipment” and “Laboratory of general structure of ships.”
“The economic development of the entire country depends on the quality of training of young specialists. For example, a plan for the development of the Northern Sea Route has now been approved. This is a large-scale project. Hundreds of supply vessels and dozens of icebreakers will be built. The most grandiose is the icebreaker “Leader”. We need specialists who can operate this equipment, build and repair new ships,” said Yuri Trutnev.
