100 participants are registered in the SAR on Russky Island in the Primorsky Territory

On April 23, 2024, the 100th international company with total assets of more than 5.5 trillion rubles was registered in the Special Administrative Region (SAR) on Russky Island. In the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), which is the management company of the SAR on the Russky Island, believe, that this preferential regime is a significant tool for protecting against sanctions risks for many large Russian companies. The increase in the number of participants in the SAR promises additional accelerated development for the Primorsky Region due to the receipt of additional taxes and business activity of companies. At the end of 2023, the SAR on Russky Island brought the region more than 10 billion rubles in tax revenue. Companies, that became participants in the SAR, employed 565 people and invested more than 1.7 billion rubles into the Russian economy. Since the beginning of 2024, there have been 33 new members, who have moved from Cyprus, Belize and the British Virgin Islands. Among the major participants are such holding structures as “TKS” Holding, “Global Ports”, “Transneft”, “TMK”, “Interros”, “Highland Gold” and others.
